Brianna Kenar

is a junior at Baldwin High School. She’s been playing flute for 5 years and has recently begun studying with Peggy Schecter. She is currently a member of Baldwin High School’s symphonic band, pit orchestra, marching band, jazz band, and brass choir. She is also the flute section leader, along with being the band’s business manager. In addition, Brianna plays with the Maui Youth Philharmonic Orchestra and Maui Community Band.
She recently joined the Maui Flute Choir. Brianna plays flute, alto flute, piccolo, tenor sax, and a little bit of french horn. For the past two years, she has been selected to play with the Maui District Honor Band. When not in band, Brianna can be found at the Iao Theater, helping to run the youth theater program, where she teaches classes Saturday morning. She also loves to play with her dog, Duke, and enjoys spending time with her friends.
