Lauralei Singsank

Lauralei Singsank, 17, is a senior at Seabury Hall. She has been a member of her school band for seven years, and a member of the Maui Flute Choir since its foundation in 2011. She plays first flute with MYPO and has studied privately with Peggy Schecter for six years. Lauralei has played for Seabury’s productions of Hello, Dolly! and Thoroughly Modern Millie, as well as the MAPA live! productions of Miss Saigon and Evita. She has been a four-year member of Seabury’s Art With Heart nonprofit benefit club, and has played with the school chorus on several occasions. In 2014 she marched with the Hawaii All-State marching band in the Pasadena Rose Bowl parade. Lauralei has also played with the Maui Pops and the Maui Chamber Orchestra, as well as occasionally enhancing the I’ao Congregational Church’s choir services. She also plays piccolo and alto flute.

Alexandra Underwood

Alex (alone)

Alexandra Underwood is a graduate of Baldwin High School. She played flute for 6 years and was a member of MYPO for four years, joining the Maui Flute Choir in 2011. Alexandra has performed with the Maui Community Band, Maui Pops Orchestra, and the Maui Classical Music Festival. She has performed with the pit orchestra for Maui OnStage’s production of “The Wizard of Oz”, as well as in MAPA’s (Maui Academy of Performing Arts) “Narnia, the Musical”. Alex was a member of Baldwin High School Marching Band, Chorus, Pit Orchestra, Wind Ensemble, and Symphonic Band. In the fall of 2013, she  began attending the California School of the Arts to pursue a career as a professional artist.

Angela Yasutomi

Angela Yasutomi is a 16 year old junior at Seabury Hall, where she performs with the school band. She has been playing flute since 2011 and studies privately with Peggy Schecter. She has been a member of MYPO (Maui Youth Philharmonic Orchestra) for 4 years and joined the Maui Flute Choir in 2012. Angela also plays trumpet and french horn for King Ke’s marching band and jazz band, as well as french horn for Seabury’s band.
