will be starting her Junior year at Baldwin High School in August, 2025. Momo started playing flute in 7th grade at Iao Intermediate School under the guidance of Mr. Galanto. She was particularly drawn to the sound of the flute after watching a video of all different band instruments. Momo is a member of the Band at Baldwin.

In addition to her love of music, she enjoys learning about Japanese culture and is fluent in Japanese. Momo also likes reading and writing short stories. She is a member of the MUN (Model United Nations) club and the Student Government.

She has been a member of the Maui Flute Choir since 2023 and studies privately with Peggy Schecter. She plays a Yamaha flute.
