played flute in High School but gave it up to pursue a demanding career and raise a family. In 2012 Neda retired and moved to Maui and primarily spent her time doing water sports – windsurfing and now wing foiling.
Upon meeting a fellow wind-fanatic, who studied flute with Peggy Schecter, Neda was encouraged to pick up the flute again.
In recent years, Neda has been studying flute with Peggy Schecter, and joined the Maui Flute Choir in August of 2023. Neda plays a Miyazawa flute.
